Abstract

Dynamic spectrum sharing in mobile cognitive radio networks (CRNs) presents critical challenges in efficient resource utilization, particularly under imperfect channel knowledge and heterogeneous network conditions. This research proposes an optimized information quantization framework designed to enhance cooperative spectrum sensing and dynamic spectrum allocation in mobile CRNs. By integrating adaptive quantization techniques with cooperative feedback and multi-antenna strategies, the framework minimizes quantization errors, reduces communication overhead, and improves overall spectral efficiency. The methodology leverages game-theoretic modeling, multi-bit decision aggregation, and OFDM-based spectrum sensing protocols. Simulation analyses demonstrate the framework's efficacy in balancing sensing accuracy, feedback bandwidth, and computational complexity. The results indicate significant improvements in achievable throughput and reliability compared to conventional fixed-quantization methods, establishing a robust foundation for scalable and adaptive spectrum sharing in real-world mobile CRNs (F. Xiong & M. Andro, 2001).
